1) The classic love film 'Tholi Prema' was first offered to Sumanth but he rejected and after that it went to Pawan Kalyan and he accepted. The rest is what we call history.
2) Director Vijay Bhaskar first approached Sumanth with 'Nuvve Kavali' script but he rejected and then Tarun accepted. This movie made Tarun an overnight star in Telugu Cinema.
3) Puri Jagannath firstly planned for the mass role of Chanti in 'Idiot' movie. It finally went to Ravi Teja and brought mass image to Raviteja as Sumanth turned down the script.
Interestingly, all the movies went onto became blockbusters and also became turning points in their careers. The lack of proper judgement on scripts was the main reason behind Sumanth's dull career. If he could have act in atleast one movie in those movies, his postion would have been different. Poor Guy!!!
